This policy explains what personal information I collect when you use jillswensen.com and my services, how I use it, and the choices you have.
Information I collect directly from you
When you book, buy, or sign up, I collect your name, email address, phone number, and billing zip code and country. For In-Person sessions, I also collect your address and any notes about access, parking, or pets.
When you book, you may answer questions about your style, goals, budget, and shopping habits, and you may choose to share changes in your body or size so I can prepare. Those answers are optional unless marked required, and I use them only to prepare for and carry out your session. I may take before and after photos of your closet only with your permission.
When you sign up for Denim Decoded and/or marketing messages, your email address is added to my email list, which I manage with Squarespace.
If you give me personal information about someone else, you confirm that you have the authority to do so.
Payments
I use Stripe to process payments. Stripe collects and stores your payment information, and I don’t. Please review Stripe’s terms of service and privacy policy: https://stripe.com/us/legal and https://stripe.com/us/privacy.
How I use your information
To book, prepare for, and carry out your session.
To send your confirmation, reminders, recap, and buy list.
To deliver the downloads you buy.
To send Denim Decoded and other emails you’ve signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
To keep my records and follow the law.
I don’t sell your personal information.
Who handles your information
I use these services to run my business: Squarespace (my website and email), Acuity Scheduling (bookings), Google Meet (video sessions), and Stripe (payments). Each handles information as described in its own privacy policy. I don’t share your information with anyone else except where the law requires it.
How long I keep it
I keep payment and booking records for 7 years, for tax and accounting. I keep your intake answers and session notes for 2 years after your last session, then delete them. I keep photos only with your permission and remove them when you ask. If you’re on my email list, I keep your address until you unsubscribe. You can ask me to delete your information sooner at any time, except for records I’m required to keep.
Your choices
You can ask me to show you the information I have about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to me at hello@jillswensen.com with your request. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time.

My website uses cookies and analytics from Squarespace to understand how people use the site.
Children
My services are for people 18 and older, and I don’t knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
